  2. Powerlines give curves a hand-drawn look. For this next demonstration, we'll show you how easy it is to duplicate the cup in this illustration.

  4. Although powerlines can be applied while drawing, the best method is to use an existing illustration consisting of curves and lines only.

  6. The Powerlines roll-up gives you access to preset tapered shapes, nib options and ink speed.

  8. The powerline presets are selected from a drop list and the width of the powerline can be entered directly in the roll-up.

  10. Once the powerline has been applied, a closed shape appears where the curve used to be. Powerlines can be applied to several curves at once.
